Pokehub is usually the best for just searching a card and getting a high volume of recent listings, right now it really sucks for 2* because there are so many fools that want the same 10 highest valued cards for all their best stuff. The poketrade app is somewhat less known and a decent back up so you get actually good trades time to time, but it's very messy, you're going to be gambling most of the time for people to even follow up on their own listings. The discords and, god forbid any other social media sites, are definitely the fucking dredges and should only be the most desperate of last resorts.

With megas being the go-to cards right now giving up 2 prizes to your opponent is meaningless. Not only that your own mega can out-tank if necessary if your opponent doesn't play megas themselves.
