Iono makes more sense in the context of the anime.Nemona is Roy's rival, Iono is Dot's mentor/big sister figure, and Penny is also affiliated with Dot.Arven just doesn't have a place in the anime's story.

Arven made a voiceless cameo once. He just isn't important to the stories of the protagonists and the plot of SV has already happened in the anime.
