I feel like the last 3 years or so Iris has gotten more popular, or rather than becoming popular it's more like less people are seething over her existence. Is it just me?

It's been over a decade since BW. People have moved on and forgotten about her. However, the damage is done and her reputation is forever blemished.Any hate she experiences nowadays is because of how obnoxious Irispedos have been since the M8 and from zoomers and contrarians who try to pretend BW anime is good so it's more her fanbase being fuckawful than Iris herself being awful nowdays.
Not at all, Iris fans behavior during the Masters 8 reignited the hatred, thinking that she'll beat Cynthia despite having zero wins as Champion.
