>>58551185Unless they fuck up the ability he's an objective improvement on what a vgc player would consider the strongest pokemon in the game. Th only downside is he takes the mega slot, so it'll all depend on if incineroaring better or DPSing better is more valuable for vgc players.

It shows that there is value to having your supportmon be able to hold its own when attacking.And if Mega Scrafty keeps Intimidate, it would be like an Incineroar without "all my friends are dead" syndrome. I can see it being better in restricted formats, where your big damage dealer doesn't need to fill your mega slot.
