A lot of people don't realize that Hisuian Typhlosion is great in VGC by virtue of being a sun abuser that's immune to fake out. Blame Game Freak for forcing everyone to play formats with broken legendaries and paradox mons.

With the unova starters not sure what they want to do, I have seen some people saying that serperior will get a gigamax form but I will prefer that the three unova starters got megas, at least they could make gigamax forms more interesting to use in the future.But the sinnoh starters really lost this time, the gen 4 switch games were a disaster and nothing new was added, they lost the perfect chance to get megas or anything interesting, so if they got megas I think it will be like the ZA starters
>>58561636Unless there's hidden data in the leaks, Typhosion might be left out for quite a while. I'd be very surprised if they add new forms for just Champions. In terms of the Gen 4 Switch games, LA was pretty well received, and I'd even say that the Sinnoh starters not getting special forms in that game made since given Sinnoh is their home region. They did however drop the ball on BDSP. It feels more likely that if they get anything it'll be in a PMD remake or Gigantamax forms in some legends game.

Also TPC's Youtube Channel released a Typhlosion short this week for seemingly no real reason. Typhlosion getting a mega or some sort of power up form in the near future isn't impossible but I wouldn't bet on it.

For typhlosion and sinnoh maybe they can get new forms in a jhoto sequel legends game, but a new PMD game after so much time would be really cool!
