I made one of my own a while back that went like this>set hundreds of years ago in ancient alola>protag and their rival begin their island challenge, along the way they get asked to help investigate wormholes appearing in the sky>protag and rival rescue a pair of cosmog that came through one and take care of them until they can find a way to get them home>climax of first part, multiple wormholes open and ultra beasts invade>protag & co. fend them off but rival and their cosmog fall through wormhole>protag looks for a way to evolve cosmog into and go to ultra space, does so>go dimension hopping to find rival, helping people along the way>end up in conflict with a group using UBs to conquer other dimensions (the humans from necrozma's backstory)>rival has lost his memory and joined up with the bad guys>their ultimate plan is to capture and use necrozma to monopolize dimensions' light and rule via threat of witholding it>after beating rival and his solgaleo/lunala he comes back to his senses>necrozma goes berserk after bad guys injure it, opens a wormhole back to alola and starts rampaging there>player with help from rival, solgaleo/lunala, tapus and others helps calm necrozma down>get to nuke the bad guys with its Z-move before it turns into its black form>necrozma is presumed dead but it just exhausted its power with its Z-move and went into hiding, can catch it and let it fuse with solgaleo/lunala after the story
