Mega Malamar is so dogshit statwise that it makes Mega Audino seem like a good Pokemon by comparison.If Mega Audino kept Regenerator while going Mega it would actually be a really good mon, there's no ability that could save Malamar from how dogshit those stats are.

Competitively? Maybe, but I'm not a SmogonfagDesign-wise? It's automatically better than at least 90% of ZA's designs for actually having effort being put into it and not trying to be a meme.
If Malamar is the shittiest and Audino is 2nd, who's the third worst? Pyroar isn't great but I can see it being a decent sweeper/stallbreaker in lower tiers. Victreebel maybe?
>>58563886It's a tough three way tie between Mega Victreebel, Scrafty and potentially Dragalge.Mega Victreebel is too Hoennpilled to be even remotely good, Mega Scrafty is a waste of a Mega slot and it gets outclassed by far too many Pokemon, it's stats aren't even horrible and offensively it has a good type, but like, there's so many better options to run, especially with Mega Lopunny getting buffed so hard. Mega Dragalge being bad entirely depends on the ability, if it keeps Adaptability it's just going to be a waste unless it gets a healing move, if Mega Dragalge does end up getting Regenerator as it's dex entry hints, than it would actually be pretty decent, but it remains to be seen. There's a (hopefully) high chance of Mega Pyroar getting a good ability like Fur Coat or Intimidate when it goes Mega.
