It's not really that weird. I'm ok with foreign cards as long as it's specifically something I need two of. For example, Gladion is basically a mandatory 2 of, and I pulled the English one and WPd the Japanese one. I'm not going to bother trading for the English one I have on my alt because I have an English one for display purposes. If I only ever had the one Japanese copy, I would absolutely only go for an English second copy just because I have Lusamine and Lillie in English, and I'd want them to match. If I happened to WP Lusamine and Lillie in Japanese? I'd just use the JPN Gladion.

because it's a stage 1, thus requiring you to run two copies of it and the basic. putting it in the deck means you're giving up four slots to get +20 HP, and how often is 20 max HP actually going to matter? grass ex cards already have big HP thanks to cape so they're unlikely to die in one hit.
if it was just a generic +20 hp it could be usable in nonex decks to provide a buffer against one-shots, but it's tied to grass and grass has fuck all for good nonex.

Can someone with both CG and DX Lillie tell me if they are seated next to each other if you put 1 of each in a deck? And then, can you randomly insert trainers from sets in-between CG and DX to see if the Lillies stay grouped together, or if they're separated because they aren't from the same set?

in my experience it's hard to trade a lower-value trainer like whitney for a higher-value one like red since there's a very obvious hierarchy
all the good deals on trainers i got were for rainbows

Still a shame this became it's own thing, the regular TCG app really needed more social options, trading/gifting cards would have been good there as would have the unique artworks
