>>58564287Pretty fucking much.I value the good in both goofy and edge, I typically love edgier Pokemon with cooler designs like Aggron, Corviknight, Skarmory and Sceptile, but I still really love Clefable, Drampa and Alolan Raichu.I think the biggest fucking issue that arises is when you try to turn something cool into something goofy like with Mega Feraligatr essentially being a humiliation ritual or when infantile faggots try to pretend that goofy cartoon stuff like Kirby for instance is "le hecking edgy and dark". There's good tasteful edge and then there's pretentious forced edge, conversely excusing horrible shit like Mega Starmie because it's "goofy" is retarded.It can work when the designs contrasts like when the gentle Drampa Mega Evolves and becomes a pissed off storm dragon god that has regained it's youthful vigor and is out to remind people what happens when it gets angry.
