Megas haven't been confirmed to be getting cut in gen 10 and ZA even soft confirms that with Ange firing what's essentially a mini Ultimate Weapon, there's hints we might get a new batch eventally. That and Krookodile is a popular enough Pokemon that has been largely free from dexcut niggery. What I'm trying to say is DON'T JYNX IT.

Which is a pity, it likely would have gotten a badass one. Basing its mega potential off feraligatr's was foolish, gatr was never all that popular in Japan, totodile was far more well received and it's clear totogatr's a Pikarai scenario and basing a mega for a not very popular pokémon on it's infinitely more popular prior evo form.

They're not adding two gimmicks again anon and Teraleak confirmed Gen 10 is a weather related form change gimmick for pokés. Never mind, they outright confirmed Champions is megas vs Tera when it launches, allowing Gen 10 to go with a different gimmick (and the return of turn-based battles potentially indicates a return to cart for VGC '27).
