AND it didn't have anything to set itself apart. AND it was pretty rare to run into in gen 3, a lot like Chimecho. I don't know how to justify "I always thought it could use an evolution" apart from "I thought it could use an evolution" lmao. Just like Chimecho, I thought that deserved an evo in gen 4 as well and was disappointed it didn't have it.

In game I assumed it was just visual shorthand to make the sprites more clear. But as time has gone on they've really doubled down on this ugly mass of blue and red with petals drawn on them rather than looking like 2 bouquets. Fix that and its design is perfect.

I used to not like it much originally but changed my mind along the way and I'm more fond of it now, don't know why. Giga Drain got buffed up 75 power in Gen V which was the same gen to introduce hidden abilities which Technician is for it. Just missed out on that boost sadly.
