Mega Gyarados is high risk and little can be done about that in a 20 card deck>2 leap out Magikarp>2 Mega Gyarados ex>1 wild swing Gyarados>2 Mantyke>1 Suicune ex>2 Pokeball>1 Pokemon Communication>2 Oak>2 Irida>2 Misty>1 Sabrina>1 Mars>1 CyrusSome thoughts after playing this deck a while: Suicune takes some games on its own. You would only want to build Suicune if it doesn't look like you can get a Mega Gyarados online quickly. Having enough pokemon to fill a bench helps both Suicine and wild swing Gyarados, but if you can build a Mega Gyarados a bench can be detrimental. The opponent can just use Sabrina or Cyrus to work around your Mega Gyarados. Wild swing Gyarados is this build's the only answer to Oricorio, though using mega blaster on one will still activate the discard effect. Wild swing Gyarados can remove a crippled Mega Gyarados from play so it is not Cyrused, but this has to be a winning move kind of situation. Sacrificing a full bench, wild swing Gyarados can deal 140 damage. Enough to end a game if other attackers have put in work. An ideal start is an active Mantyke, benched Manyke, and Magikarp. Repel and Sabrina from the opponent only award the other Mantyke and, once Mega Gyarados is out, the opponent doesn't really get anything out of switching your active with your bench. So what if they knock out both Mantyke for 2 points if they can't get the Mega Gyarados for 3. Comms can help grab the pokemon you need. With so many pokemon, you do need to be picky about how and when you use it. Mars I like to use to return a loaded hand to the deck before a mega blaster. If the opponent has no deck to discard from, Mars can give them one. You could swap out one of the Mega Gyarados as to not always carry a dead card. I find 2 useful just to be sure I can play Mega Gyarados. As always, an early Misty can win the game.
