NovelAI is very user-friendly, although it tended to turn spinarak into otherworldly horrors and it took some inpainting and lots of pokemon tags to fix that on the ones I bothered fixing. I have been told the trick is to get it as close to what you want as you can before you use a character reference, and then copy the seed of that before applying the reference so it costs less credits (assuming you went with the monthly sub that gives unlimited gens). After that you can touch it up for free with inpainting and setting good gens as base images to try different prompts with. Kind of a pain in the butt, but that's always the case when working with AI.Wish I had a head for drawing so I could get things exactly right, but I already spent years on that with nothing to show for it except the realization that I do not enjoy drawing. I inpaint what I can fix, but if you look closely at my album I made with Red /Zach in his leather biker jacket there are a bunch of glitches left in their pics that are fully beyond my skill to properly fix.But I absolutely stand by the fact that you're better than I was when I first tried making art, Sunny! 10/10 :)
