I just find it kinda sad, but the kind of sadness you feel when you see a retard kid doing something very hard for him but piss easy for everybody else, you know he did his best but his best is just anybody else average and you know you need to be happy for him but you still feel sad because it will be like this for all his life. I like Zeraora design, it's not one of my favorite pokemon or anything just a cool design, and you know they tried to give him a cool mega but they just end up recoloring it, like I should be happy because it's not a meme design based on a reference but it's just that and I just feel they didn't even try.

i remember when sun and moon came out everybody was clowning on zeraora for looking like a fursona but we didnt know how bad it would get in the future kek. atleast zeraora base form had short and cartoony proportions, this shit literally looks like a guy in a fursuit. this shit is foul

There's a character in the Gen 5 who wanted to make films who ended up getting a Zorua who was really into movies, he got the Zorua to agree to use it's illusions to make itself into actors for his movies, but it refused to turn into any human men, it took Ash and friends coming in and realizing his Zorua only wants to be female humans, because it's actually a girl

That guy and his Zorua actually showed up in a couple of episodes during the Gen 5 anime, so they weren't even a one off

I feel like this design is the platonic ideal of what a mega pokemon is and whether or not you like it comes down to whether or not you like zeraora. It doesn't change anything too much in one direction, and is mostly just more of what it is. The few I have seen that like zerora but not the mega post fan designs that are "add a bunch of shit to it" kind of designs and I feel like that's telling.

And as an example, as apparently the only person on the planet that likes crabominable if the mega is just "adds more hair" like a real yeti crab I will in fact like it's design, but if you dislike crabominable then you will most likely keep not liking it.
