I prefer Bisharp's more subtle approach to its chain of command theme, where its not as in-your-face about what exactly its supposed to be. Feels more monster esque that way, especially with its digitigrade legs. Plus, Bisharp has a cool sleek aesthetic which is lost with Kingambit.I see Kingambit as a sidegrade/slight downgrade.. wouldn't mind that so much if they gave Bisharp a bit of a buff to set it aside, like Porygon2 and Porygon-Z.

For example, Magnemite was created when Sugimori got an order from Tajiri for a Pokemon based around magnets/magnetism. Other times the artist makes ideas theyre interested in. Sometimes those designs dont work out well, so they scrap them but save them for later revision. Scraggy had a super early prototype idea from early Gen 3 that they revised in Gen 5.

The torso is significantly thicker than Bisharp's, by like double.To be less shitposty and more direct, I like Kingambit (sans the scooting bullshit), but there's way more changes than just "it has a new helmet and sits down". Virtually all of its design has major changes to it both small scale and the general theme behind it. It's a new design entirely, and its not hard to see why one might prefer Bisharp over Kingambit.
