Like idk, maybe you bullshit some lore about how Tropius that only eat Babiri Berries or some shit, becomes part Steel and too heavy for flight. Uses the wings for sunbathing, photosynthesis or something, idk. Whatever gets the job done. If nothing else, Tropius is surprisingly modest in size, so there's room for a huge sauropod evo.

sun, for sure. all 3 of his abilities benefit from the sun, and it's a tropical pokemon. the rain route in hoenn is a huge mood tho
