Why won't the mainline games implement different colored eggs? Not asking for every egg group to have its own unique pattern, but at least do what GO! does. Maybe a handful of uniques, like Togepi and Elekid.

because game freak is too busy drinking sake and blasting ropes to kiddy porn to give a shit about putting effort into the breeding gimmick. Niantic (as greedy as they are) respect Pokemon more than game freak does
Oh and by the way, they aren't eggs they're leaf cradles
>but what about all the media that shows them as eggs?
> game freak was too lazy to let the other segments of TPC know so all other media just treats them like eggs
>but how can that be? even in the games they look like eggs
they're leaf cradles
>but they don't show leaves
leaf cradles
>every single game calls them eggs
leaf cradles
>name one time in game were it calls leaf cradles.
XY, over a decade after eggs were introduces some random npc explicitly states that they are not eggs
>but
SMALL INDIE COMPANY DON'T ASK QUESTIONS JUST CONSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
