Give it a 2-in-1 ability that is Snow Warning + automatic Aurora Veil.

i know tail glow is right there, but if i want to actually be interesting i'd turn illuminate into a no guard clone and give it to ampharos, ideally alongside draco meteor, wish, (previously removed)heal bell and a small buff to defensive stats.gives it a significant power, consistency and utility boost by allowing it to run zap cannon stab, while also just doing that bit extra to help its utility/coverage options like draco meteor(if it gets it), focus blast, electroweb, or charge beam(zap cannon frees up your twave slot). it would be objectively better to slap this new illuminate onto mega ampharos and call it a day because mold breaker isn't all too great for it(plenty of neutral coverage for electric immune abilities), but i'd at least like the base form to get it as well for when megas inevitably return to the aether after gen 10(power herb meteor beam instead of mega evolving also becomes 100% accurate which is really funny)thunderclap would also be nice but kinda encroaches on amph's unique identity as a slow, bulky electric type with more utility/support options than average. it's for that same reason i've never liked "just give it tail glow lmao" because then it just becomes slow wallbreaker/trick room sweeper #2367buffed illuminate also similarly buffs some other mons (notably starmie and the odd lanturn) which is nice... i did just find out it was buffed to actually do something in battle in a patch in SV but fuck that.
