Absol was the clear winner of this expac, but Game Freak, please, make the old mega a dark/fairy type. There is very little reason for it to exist now. Magic bounce and good special attack does not justify having significantly lower offensive stats and worse typing.

Lucario and Darkrai are kino and I would use them if they were in a game worth playing.Special mention to Tatsugiri because it's my favorite Water type, I wasn't expecting anything good and I was still disappointed.

Not too many stinkers this batch, even the ones I don't like it's mostly minor things that make me not like it (except for darkai that one fucking sucks). Honestly the one I'm most disappointed in is Golisopod's, even though I don't dislike it, I still think it's a pretty cool design, I just think it's okay, when golisopod is like top 3 pokemon designs OAT for me, guess that was too high a bar to clear
