All things considered, Mega Meowstic stat spread is actually very good. 124 base speed is just enough to outspeed Meowscarada and Greninja and 143 special attack with the addition of Moonblast to its moveset leads to some very interesting scenarios.

It picks guaranteed KOs against two common fast Dark-types while Mega Delphox (whose stats are better in every way) has to rely on a roll with the much weaker Dazzling Gleam.

If it were to obtain Psychic Surge like OP suggests, 143 SpA seems like the ideal range to hit some certain benchmarks.

It's just enough 2HKO Mega Starmie unboosted, which is interesting since it's one of the most hyped megas from the base game. An unresisted hit of Expanding Force with a neutral nature can 100% one-shot everything up to 85/85 bulk with 4 EV points in special defense (or Sandy Shocks bulk).
