She was very reliabile during the battle with Zygarde but man outside of Giga Drain, Dazzling Gleam and Earth Power I still don't know what the fourth move should be? some say Reflect or ight Screen, others say Safeguard or Protect so that when the enemy tries to use a move they know will be supereffective you can get a few hits in before that move recharges but the problem is Meganium is Grass/Fairy, that means it has six weaknesses 2 of which are 4x damage so even if you stop one attack it's highly likely the opponent has another to hit you with, I wish Dazzling Gleam wasn't a move you had to get up close to use, it even fucks over my Delphox who desperately needs the coverage
the reason is because Meganium is not agile enough to be able to use play rough. Pokemon are creatures.

>>58726456Funnily enough, I was running double-edge to get closer to use dazzling gleam back in the first season of ranked and it worked surprisingly well even if it wasn't strong enough to warrant the self-damage. Synthesis has been pretty strong since then, to the point where I dropped solar beam just for synthesis + light screen and was able to do plenty with just earth power and dazzling gleam. If you're running Giga Drain, maybe building for either defense or special defense and then covering the other with a screen could work? Not really sure, I'd like to get solar beam in there myself for the plus version but it's hard to justify when it needs survivability too
