>>58731823Honestly, I don't think the mega looks BAD exactly, the problem is that base form is an upright-floating person-like being, and the mega is an oddly rotated vague shape. I get its supposed to be the evil eye symbol they've been using to represent the Dark type for decades, but for one thing it only barely resembles it, and secondly it still doesn't make that much sense for Darkrai. I think this is a design that would fare better in the 2d sprite era, because those weird tentacles and tendrils would look better as gaseous aura or emissions like Gastly and Weezing. It just looks gross and uninspired in 3d.
