holy shit arbok backwards in kobra
>>
I hear it's so not good it brings down the impression of the game as a whole retroactively

Tedious and grindy

the story with aisha is cute but like >>58734324 said it's too grindy
did i really need to repeat the research stuff like 5-6 times? the last one is especially tiring
>>
>>58732900
Overpriced and overpadded to "justify" the high price. Should've been a free update or part of the base game.
>>
>>58732900
It shouldve been with the base game and the base game shouldve cost 40 bucks. The entire game has less shit to do than sv dlc
>>
>>58732900
Kalos proved itself for a second time in a row to be the most dogshit region in the series.
>>
why is he trying not to laugh? very disrespectful.
>>
>>58732900
Arbok when he finds out my mom kinda homeless
>>
>>58732900
considering it released less than 2 months after the base game which means it was already done and just waiting for release, and the base game already being overpriced considering the quality and content, it's a literal scam.

pokemon as a franchise has always been greedy but this is one of the worst offenders if you really think about it.
>>
Arbok I'm watching yo stream! Why you trying not to laugh that's disrespectful!
>>
>too grindy!

Same verdict I have Donkey Long Bananza: good base game, bad meaningless DLC.
>>
>>58734904
Emerald was a good game and this served as motivation to grind. ZA is shit, no one with a sane mind would want to spend hours on this game. Fuck off zoomer-kun
>>
>>58734904
It’s ultimately just that people want a “pretend pvp” end game

It is okay DLC, but not worth $30 with the contend it offers.
SV DLC was $35 and we get two new big areas. ZA DLC offer copy pasted inferior area.
At best they are only worth half the price.

However since people are buying it anyway, Wind/Wave DLC will be priced $50 and feature ZA DLC like content for sure

It should have been a free update.
You can really tell they went under budget with this one compared to SWSH/SV DLCs.
>>
>Legends arceus provides a more meaningful post game than ZA free of charge
ZAsisters...
>>
>>58732900
Boughtened without hesitation.
>>
>>58732900
I'm usually a GF cocksucker but it's awful. I just want to catch Pokemon but the shitty time limits and randomness of what you can actually encounter without resetting benches for hours isn't letting me.
I couldn't catch Treecko the first time I got a distortion with one because I ran out of time before I found it and I didn't find another one until after the story was finished. It just isn't fun.
>>
>>58732900
It's the Arceus legendary roundup postgame, but with even more pedantic things to do in-between boss fights.
But this one costs an extra $30 for some reason.
And Arceus had the better Darkrai fight lmao
>>
>>58732900
Overpriced, kinda tedious, brings some stuff that is nice but has no reason to be a part of dlc and should have been in the base game, new megas are peak, even more peak than base game megas

5/10 DLC you can see it's just a cash grab for the most part, shit tier compared to how much stuff SV dlc added to the game, Definitely not worth 30 money, 15 money would be a fair price for it

Aisha is 10/10 cunnymommywife bonerfuel uooooh brat but sadly she can't carry the entire DLC

Honestly the space kinda feels like a half baked afterthought and the play is not really that fun. It feels rushed or like it originally was planned to be free but then they attempted to bloat it up and just shat out something to cash out hopefully
>>
>>58735106
At least Caturday is 4chan native instead of some Xitter shit.
>>
Extremely grindy and padded. ZA's whole appeal is Megas, shiny hunting and fucking around with the new battle system online.

As a whole, it should have been 40 or 50 bucks.

Funny. I enjoyed the main game quite a lot. The moment the DLC dropped and I saw how the gameplay loop worked I put the game down. I haven't touched it since, I just can't bring myself to. So I feel like you are onto something.

30 bucks is quite a bit too much for something that clearly would have been part of the base game had the game been made ten-fifteen years ago, but otherwise it's just fine. I don't know what sort of "grind" people are taking offense with, presumably the very reason you're picking up the DLC is because you want to catch more Pokemon, witness new Mega Evos and do some more basic LZA stuff, and that's what it provides. If you only cared about whatever little additional story is there and are mad you had to play the game inbetween the cutscenes, I'm sorry but you alone are to blame for your loss of 30 dollars/euros/whatever. Youtube is right there.
>>
>>58734904
Yes, bring back the facility with multiple different challenges that change how you play the game who only need you to grind around 25-50 in each facility to "beat" them. Each one having a myriad of things to fight against with various different sets and styles that you have to prepare for or lose.
>>
>>58735201
Are you retarded? You can reset the wormholes with benches.
>>
>>58732900
It’s the best post release update any Pokémon game has received. The story alone is longer than Kitakami + Blueberry Academy’s combined, the 80 side quests absolutely dwarfs the 15 added in the SV dlc, the boss battles are even better than the base game, several new battle mechanics are introduced like multistrike and charge moves, it introduces updated teams for everyone, 3000 new trainer battles, and endgame spoilers wise it has without a doubt one of the most cinematic finales a Switch 2 game can offer currently. I personally don’t understand the “grind” complaint, as you can earn a pretty high amount of points on average especially in battle zones so it may be people just trying to rush through the game. Pokémon fans only play Pokémon so they don’t understand what a roguelite system is.

It's fucking over. It actually is fucking over you just opened my eyes.

>The story alone is longer than Kitakami + Blueberry Academy’s combined
So this is the power of shillium Z…
>3000 new trainer battles
Nigga, what? Are you counting random combinations of Pokemon teams that can be found in hyperspace hologram battles? Otherwise if you’re only referring to side quest double battles it’s not even close to that.
Everything else you said is right though.
>>
>>58736748
> Nigga, what? Are you counting random combinations of Pokemon teams that can be found in hyperspace hologram battles?

>>
>>58736723
Imagine playing an RPG and complaining it has side quests.
>>
>>58736763
You have no idea what real side quests are like because you were born too late
>>
>>58736756
I don’t know how much they’ve paid you to make shit up about the dlc but I’ll pay you twice as much ($0 x 2) to shut up about it
>>
>>58736794
Yeah you’re definitely retarded. If you can’t afford it just say that lmao.
>>
>>58735047
>“pretend pvp”
Probably the best explanation of why the battle frontier is good despite being grindy.
Having a repeatable and challenging yet rewarding postgame mode that emulates pvp makes or breaks a games postgame for me. Literally any game with pvp btw, being able to still get challenge even after online goes down is pretty huge.
Making it rewarding is probably the hardest part, Emerald does it the best by giving you the silver/gold symbols and exclusive berries when you beat the frontier.
>>
>>58736800
Nigger look at my original post, I said everything else you said was true; because I have it I would know if what you said is right or wrong. Learn to break your black and white thinking
>>
>>58736882
Nta but “random combination of Pokémon teams” is not a real thing, each battle in hyperspace is coded in, and it specifically added over 3000 new trainer battles.
>>
>>58736900
When I say random combination of Pokemon teams I mean having a trainer with a slurpuff an igglybuff and a spritzee is hardly a completely different fight from a trainer with slurpuff cleffa and flabebe, even if they’re all alpha, these trainers’ teams feel like random combinations of Pokemon from a list of a specific type. Saying 3000 unique teams means nothing because not one of these 3000 battles are a challenge of any kind or involve Pokemon that are fully evolved or ev trained, and the ones that are fully evolved are still one or two shot by one Pokemon with advantage over the whole team.
>>
>What's the verdict on the DLC?
Not even FOTW tier, the dlc is that ass

>>58732900
