>>58736782Agreed. They aren't that viable, but in whatever metas that they are, they're pretty cool. Solid typing and defensive bulk, can go specs, swords dance, mixed, even flip turn. I remember when I was part of the 35 pokes server and this was chosen. Blastoise took a lot of the attention, but it was a mon that could actually counter nearlly every possible Blastoise set as it's lower speed made it under speed with flip turn on defensive sets and with an assualt vest it could destroy 90% shell smash sets due to grass knot (if they were max attack and had earthquake+life orb, then there was a chance it wouldn't work). In game, it's quite neat too, as it works amazing whichever nature it happens to have. Adamant Delphoxes and Modest Feraligatrs are annoying and that's especially the case with 2/3 gen 7 and all of 8 and 9 starters, but anything is cool with Samurott.
