Well that sure was another spaghetti code moment, at first I lost the Cordbeau clothes fight because my pokemon stopped doing anything and just stood there, then when I tried the match again, it happened to the opponent instead. Mega Skarmory and mega Scolipede just standing still and not doing anything (well the skatmory kept taking flight and landing and taking flight in a loop) but basically free victory while the game is just shitting itself and barely working

In side the hyper zones, sometimes your pokemon go off in a random direction when trying to just attack a pokemon/crystal/ball, and get caught in terrain and so on all the time, which is further frustrating when you are under a time limit, double so when you are trying to complete some shit-ass yee-haw challenge like catch 5 pokemon undetected. You honestly have way better chances just full sending it and just rushing into a group of pokemon and spam throwing balls and with good luck and game being wonky af you catch them before they managed to "notice" you even if you were standing right next to them.Donut powers seem to be fully rng rather than there being set powers so have fun with that and the whole "Need to grind 20+ lower zones to get to grind a higher end zone once" gameplay loop of constant berry hunting.New outfits are disappointing, most of them are one piece only with no option to really mix and match, and not really optimized either, some of them looking straight up ass on player characters and Ivors buff top body being as unisexed as xey/xem pokemon can be.cont.

The new megas vary from easy to beat (usually the extra missions) to what the flying fuck were they thinking (fight two megas at once inside a small square arena smaller than the wire fence battle arenas around town) but the main shitcake goes off to the major mega battles.Outside the first 2 (introduction) matches each and every one of them has just been unbeatable on the first try, forcing you to just keep repeatedly trying 2-3 times while "keeping progress" and even with specific counter pokemon that feel almost a necessity or a full on steroid fueled team of hyper trained 100's just can't get the job done. You can't really make use of items either because, and I do not know if this is switch 1 exclusive, the battles are so wonky and taxing on the hardware that the game sometimes refuses to register inputs for attacks or opening up the menu for solid 10+ seconds or even more as the game is trying to execute the mega doing whatever shit it is up to and the "helping npc's" doing whatever the fuck they are off doing. Add in a timer to all of this and it's just ass.For a few examples mega REDACTED jumps and moves around the arena to such a degree that you are missing 2/3 of all attacks no matter if you are using a physical or special pokemon moves, because the constant repositioning of your own pokemon because of the mega moving around just costs way too much time. Now the problem with this is that if you accidentally made your pokemon attack the mega and it just happens to set up the cage before your pokemon can execute the attack (and with a timer constantly ticking down on you, you are going to be spamming attacks as much as you can) your pokemon will then run at the wall for around ten seconds, attacking nothing and only then allows you to command it again, just like those times a pokemon gets caught in random map objects and then attacks nothing. YOur pokemon and the npc pokemon can get caught in the edges of the cage when trying to run around it, still not reaching the one specific wall you can destroy. If it does not spawn right in front of you and the npc pokemon just happen to be on that side by luck, you usually won't get to destroy the cage, and this thing just costs so much time. You should be able to counter this and destroy it, but the game just won't let you because it was programmed in a weekend in a rush or some shit and ends up making you have to repeat the battle while keeping the progress.Then Mega REDACTED3 just has such a huge hp pool and defenses, that even with the best berries available to you at the time, painstakingly grinded, do just not give you enough time to kill it in one go even with spamming super-effective + attacks from a level 100 hyper trained best attacking stat available in-game super effective type pokemons stab attacks. Each "big" battle is just riddled with some random bullshit that makes you feel like 0 play testing went into this. I haven't finished the dlc and I am so fucking tired already it's exhausting
