Blew 3x10 packs and got jack fucking shit as far as the set is concerned - not even one single EX. A handful of shit 1-stars no one cares about, and a bunch of 3 diamonds, but nothing higher than that.
With the one exception of a FA serena, which is extremely nice and probably the one card I would have wanted long term for 2-star

But all things consider I still kind of feel like I got fucked over. Like if that was literally any other 2-star this would have been a disaster. Like I've never seen so few EX in my time playing, I can't even make a new deck because I got fuck all for playable cards

Blastoise feels kinda nice actually. The second effect is useless but 130 for 3 on something that's really tanky and has Irida support is nice. Also has Misty for winning games you shouldn't have.

I've won all 4 of my Blastoise matches but only because my opponent bricked terribly and I got immensely lucky every single time. I only won the last match off of 3 coins from Misty and the Charizard's Moltress getting 1 energy over two turns, and THEN the Charizard not drawing his Blaze Patch.

i don't think there's a single reason to use new magnezone. 90 damage is a fucking terrible breakpoint that misses out on many vital KOs, you have no real use for the extra energy you save by not discarding because your other zone already generates its own energy, and the extra HP doesn't even remotely make up for those downsides.

Kalos and Unova I'm positive aren't going to get main expansions, not for a long time at least. Between all of these megas and ZA, I don't doubt we'll be seeing mega cards all year; TPC will probably be pushing mega evolutions well into Gen 10. Hoenn I'm sure will see it's own main expansion, but that's probably it for the full dex before newer shit. Random missing Unova/Kalos legendaries will probably show up as random insert 3dia or promo ex junk, as has been the precedent. Maybe features of some kind of themed mini expansions in B series as well as those missing starters.
