Has there been any evidence you can buy VP? They've only said it was from Ranked Battles and "other places", which is so vague it could mean straight buying, available in limited quantities in a battle pass, from other temporary game modes, or they're just future proofing it and there's no other real way to earn it at launch. That's not to say there won't be a premium currency, and I imagine cosmetics and possibly some items will be locked behind said currency, but it seems like VP isn't it.
