Like I said, I have been trying out some pokemon fangames, and the one I went with first was Salt and Shadow due to how it was marketed, since it seems to be a Pokemon game with the design choices and cues of Dark souls.I played it for a bit, and for me it is kind of too bullshit to stomach, it did made me wonder how storytelling could be approached or in what ways you can mix pokemon with another genre or IP. Something to note before the holidays.The world Hali and friend's story takes place not in the Pokémon world, but in the real world where players can interact with digital Pokémon through an "official" MMO centered on the card game.Players use avatars to represent themselves in game, so most if not all characters in this story will look different in real life compared to how they portray themselves in the game.When a group of hackers calling themselves "Team Accel" take over the game and turn it into their personal playground, the players still logged in must work around having their traditional decks gutted and rebuild what they've lost through battling grunts in order to stand a chance of defeating the admins and their leader.Anyway, happy Christmas and I'll hopefully see you all in the new year, provided this place can keep itself alive lol. Merry Christmas tog! TQ: In our setting, "Christmas" is "Life Day" and is a holiday based around Xerneas. It has been a while since I checked on how it is different, though, besides the name. Quartz enjoys the time with his family, though given that, depending on the worldline, his siblings are dead, or his parents are missing or hospitalized, it is a bit of a bittersweet celebration. My other OC Gabriel, only got to experience it once with his good friends; it was mostly just them shouting "HAPPY LIFE DAY!" at the top of their lungs at everyone.

Despite her forgetfulness and wacky behavior, Midori aims to solve the issues plaguing the game as a result of the Hacker attack even if she doesn't have the perms she's used to.She sports an almost permanent :} face, and her vocal tick consists of her adding "Myaa" to almost every other sentence. LOVES to play with slime and slimy stuff. Her bedroom in real life has a worrying amount of slime tubs that she keeps in special drawers.Her deck has no real type theming, rather she stuffs it full of gooey and/or amorphous Pokémon. Although they're just programs summoned from the cards in this story to represent battling, the Pokémon in my tale will have a lot more "personality" akin to a Digimon. In most cases the protagonist Pokémon even be able to talk TO their partners.I still need to come up with a new title for this story (it WAS originally "Victory Stars" which would have had Victini in it), but for a Pokémon fan story it draws HEAVILY from Digimon Liberator, Digimon: Our War Game and by extension, Summer Wars.Protagonists gaining EX, Mega and special cards will be treated as being special moments, with a lot of EX Evolutions consisting of the Pokémon gaining a size increase and an anime-esque aura. Additionally, these moments are tied to the character development of not the characters in-game for the most part, but the people behind the screen controlling their avatar as they fight not only to save their beloved MMO but also contend with their own shortcomings and personal demons.That's all I got today.See you in the new year for the full Hali reveal, the "opening song" (themes are coming back) and a look at not only one of the NEW faces joining the protagonists but the first look at the "evil team" infesting the game: Team ACCEL.

What I do mind is the fucking +35 to attack and being 1 point slower than Garchode, 2 points slower than Mega Excadrill, and 4 points slower than Mega Sharpedo. They could deadass have given it +30 to attack instead and put 5 more in speed and it would be THAT much better. There were two complaints that I saw a lot about Mega Evolution in Pokemon Journeys. The first is that they didn't embellish the transformation as much. The second is that mons no longer had Mega Evolution accessories like AlainZard did in XYZ. Honestly, I find the mechanic of the Mega Stone floating out of Alex's pocket and going to Glimmora while it Megas to be quite weird, so I came up with two concepts. The first is a solid gold bracelet and the second is a gold bead bracelet. I wanted to make them turquoise originally but I didn't like how the color scheme turned out. Now, this then presented a problem, which is the fact that they would need to shrink in order to fit the narrower cone post-Mega Evolution or else they would just fall off. At first I had considered making the solid one some auto-adjusting spandex similar to Alex's Battle Belt that just shrinks itself to fit over whatever pants he's wearing, but then it would no longer be gold. As I mentioned previously the way that Mega Evolution is shown in the anime is pretty embellished for a temporary transformation that doesn't even seem to have a charge up or time limit (yes I know PLZA literally just established those two things but that's probably just a gameplay contrivance that will be abandoned when Megas are introduced to Champions + if Megas are introduced back into mainline games; in my writing the reason that Mega Evolution works differently in Lumiose is because the land actually sucks the Mega Energy out of Key Stones, which thus requires attacks to be landed in order for the Mega Stone to re-absorb enough power to allow Mega Evolution, and once activated the Mega Energy will begin to be sucked back into Lumiose City, hence why the transformations are now temporary. This in turn is why Rogue Mega Evolution happens, since the absorption of Mega Energy causes overflow in some spots)

That's because this faggot got his start in /vp/ drawthreads constantly requesting bikini artworks of characters from Grandia in /v/, most of which were underage girls. When that didn't work, he went on r/Grandia and did the same thing in their Discord server to the point he became the first person banned from there in the entire decade-long history of the server (yeah, Discord is a decade old now). After that, he began harassing artists on Twitter for the same thing. He eventually did move on from Grandia and started working on his fangame Pokemon Evergreen and throughout the development cycle of it acted like such a colossal faggot that he would be chased out of every fangame website. And that's where the modern history of PedoDavid begins on /vp/, he then began to pester /rheg/ with his shitty artwork and asking for feedback while never providing so much as a single battle long demo. Someone managed to find his Web Archive account where a GoAnimate cheesy pizza video was found (go to Arch and search "childish dad" if you don't believe me, but be warned that while it's legal to view in the US it might get you on a watchlist, and I don't know if it's legal to view in bongland), and within the span of hours he went from being an annoying Shaun type to a universally reviled villain on /vp/. He's posted infrequently in this thread since the summer of 2024 to little replies but started to get bolder around last year when he made several attempts to take over our OP. In the months before the tragedy on April 1st Archivist had called him out and I called him out again afterThroughout all of this, he has been doxxed multiple times and refuses to leave, going on long hiatuses instead, hoping that people will forget about all that he's done. You could make a Kiwifarms thread about him at this point.

This isn't really a unique specimen that she accidentally created in her coffee machine.That being said, I did have a small selection of regional variants of mons that weren't originally found in Unova (including both BW and BW2), with the idea behind them being that they'd only been recently cataloged. I might use some of those in my story as it develops.Speaking of... the second chapter of Merry's tale is officially in the works, having finally set down to put together a rough draft.
