>>58763585I could forgive it if they made the starting special scan pool only be 5* locked mons and the 7 Legendary/Mythicals, and then as you cleared the Legendary/Mythical Special Scans they added in Battle Zones in place of those. But my first SEVEN FUCKING SPECIAL SCANS were either Battle Zones or the stupid fucking Kanto/Hoenn/Kalos Starter zones. I had to grind out 200K POINTS TO GET A SINGLE ZONE THAT I COULD ACTUALLY GET SOMETHING NEW OUT OF.AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THE FIRST TIME I GOT THE 25K POINTS WAS AFTER THE ZERAORA BATTLE, WHICH HAS A POST-MISSION CUTSCENE THAT TAKES PRIORITY OVER THE PHILIPPE CALLING ME CUTSCENE, WHICH APPARENTLY DOESN'T SET THE FLAG FOR LETTING YOU ACTIVATE THE SPECIAL SCAN IN THE FIRST PLACE, SO I HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THAT it turns out just gaining points in any other hyperspace zone fixes it but literally no one knew how that worked at the time.It is now 11 days after the DLC has released, and I am still grinding special scans to get two main non-legendary Pokemon (Rotom and Hisuian Avalugg, also technically Gimmighoul since I'm doing a living dex) as well as Cobalion, Terrakion and Keldeo. The Special Scan system is fucking retarded, and at minimum there needs to be some kind of visible "pity" system that gives you zones you've not gotten before until you've gotten all the possible non-Battle Zones at least once.
