>>58768945sv's staff roll song if game freak was based
>>58768914>dude what if literally everything from the future was a robot and everything from the past was a caveman wouldnt that be so fun and quirkyParadox pokemon were a mistake
>>58768914No, that's Heath's fanfiction which Turo believed as a kid, then he built a machine to drag pokemon from an alt timeline that is like that.
>>58768914>>58768976It's not really the past or future, they're just imagined pokemon.
>>58768914And here's the past lmaoSimply stereotypes for a children's license; no surprise, they often do that
>>58768976>>dude what if literally everything from the future was a robotAnd that's based. Imagine wanting some boring shit like "what if pokemon from the future evolve like real life animals?"
>>58768945Masterclass + funny + lore accurate
>>58768914>>58768976>>58771514>in the future/past You're such a retarded speedreader holy shit no wonder people don't take you seriously
>>58771545it's just spongebob jokes mankeep your cock in your panties
>>58768945These two never meet. Ever. Fanfic ahh videoslop.
>>58771545It's still the story of a time machine that brings back Pokémon that were lost or haven't yet appeared, sharing common DNA. The notion of past and future is repeated throughout, from the inspirations and the story to the designs. You can cry, "It's just imagination," but no, it's not supported by the game. You can call it an alternate timeline; it's still a variation on time travel, with the themes of past and future where they are not excluded from anywhere.
>>58771568>"time machine"The alt professor outright said it's a different dimension. Paradoxmons are just Convergent Ultra Beasts which is why they come with their own Beast Boost style ability.
>>58771669It's not a different dimension, retard, it's another parallel timelineStill future/past
>>58771669>Time machine at the heart of the plot.>The etymology of Turo and Sada refers to the future and what is ancient.>The professors are dressed as cavewomen or in a futuristic style.>Miraidon and Koraidon have for etymology "future" and "ancient" in its name.>We speak of a "future paradox" or an "ancient paradox" because they are time paradoxes.>Robot design with futuristic technology or dinosaur design from ancient times.>Hadron Engine and Electro Drift have descriptions that mention the future because Miraidon's powers are linked to it.>Orichalcum Pulse and Collision Course have descriptions that mention the past because Koraidon's powers are linked to it.>Paradoxmon is described as having behaviors and DNA similar to certain Pokémon from the present.>They explain that they come from the past and the future several times, and they even highlight this information to make sure a kid doesn't miss it.At this point, it's like suggesting that Kyogre and Groudon have no connection to land and sea. Even though their etymology, appearance, ability and signature move, powers, history, the name of the organization that uses them, and their clothing, their description always refers to oceans, water, continents, and lava.
>>58771562>ahhHi tourist, you can curse here without the algorithm taking your money.
>>58771568>it's still a variation on time travel Source?
>>58771669>Groudon from USUM comes from another dimension; it probably doesn't exist anywhere else!Your reasoning is stupid.Ultra Beast is described as coming from another dimension; they come from other universes/world, and this is repeated 15 times. Furthermore, we are clearly told that Ultra Beasts cannot be found in our world. Teraleak refers to them as "Parallel Pokemon."Paradoxmon doesn't come from another dimension, nor from another universe/world. We're talking about time travel, time machine, the past, the future, and alternate timelines (which are often linked or the result of time travel). And we never say that we can't find them in our world; we say that we can't find them in the present. The AI is the best-placed character to define what a Paradox Pokémon is because:>It has finished its research>It built and tested its machine>It has encountered and studied ParadoxmonIt repeats several times and in different ways, that they come from the past or future relative to the present. Game Freak will even go so far as to slip colored words into of AI dialogue box to highlight the most important information: "ancient Pokémon" and "future Pokémon", so that even the dumbest child can understand. Then, in the DLC, a professor who has never seen a Paradoxmon and is stuck in his research mentions an "alternative timeline" once, and you arbitrarily assume (because you prefer it that way) that this refers to the timeline and not the future/past.While none of the information contradicts itself. Furthermore, it has never been portrayed as exclusive to other timelines, unlike Mega Evolution, which clearly states a timeline with and without Mega Evolution. So, until proven otherwise, Paradoxmon is present in all timelines at their respective times (distant past or distant future).
>>58771750terapagos revealed it to me in a dream.
>>58771750Haven't you ever seen any fiction that deals with time travel? It's so common.Time travel can be portrayed in different ways.Sometimes it just creates loops, or actually allows several to interact. Sometimes it rewrites events, erasing what was initially established. Sometimes it doesn't erase anything and creates another timeline with the changes made, or influences another timeline to avoid any paradox, preventing what's established from truly changing, while still "changing" it.It's a vast subject.Especially since the notion of an alternate timeline doesn't really mean much in Pokémon. APL is the past of DP/Plt, yet it's not the same timeline. The same goes for XY and Z-A. Or even between each game cartridge, whether it's a different version or the same one. Everything that's discussed exists in some way.
