I find it so fucking funny that anons keep trying to force this meme with Samurott specifically when TPCi is going out of its way to market both forms at the same time showing that regionals are not replacements. You couldn't pick a worse example and yet people are so hellbent on it.In fact, the current anime character that uses Unovan Samurott also uses a Kanto Sandslash. That's double the ""replaced"" regionals not being replaced.

It’s just samurrott but more and cooler. They took a samurai and made it more like a samurai. HOwl and HTyph don’t expand on what was really present, they go off some odd tangent that somewhat goes against what people who likes the originals in the first place. It’s almost painful how obvious it is that H. samurott is the shillmon of trio. But the dark type always is.
