Currently playing through blaze black 1. Kinda disappointed they couldn't implement the fairy type like they did in renegade platinum. Heard they did manage to get the fairy type implemented in blaze black 2 redux. But I want to play the games in order. And man is the difficulty higher than in the base game. Full 6 pokemon load outs for all gym leaders with mons that all have moves to counter their type weaknesses plus teams with actual good movesets in general.

I don’t need a sequel story with an altered map but some new stuff to not feel 1:1 to all the other hacks out there. There was this hack called Emerald Advanced that I enjoyed where there were changes to the map but it still felt like Hoenn. It also introduced a few OC abilities for Pokemon that didn’t feel too out of place. The latest patch stops at Lilycove and I’ve been searching for something similar since. Closest I got to Inclement Emerald which is more modern but smaller emphasis on the new changes to the map. Also heard about ROWE and was going to check that out to learn more

The current version of the game doesn't add any new areas iirc, but there are updates In the works that will overhaul Hoenn by moving things around and adding multiple new areas.
