Is this box really worth 40k?

Are crazy pokefags really paying this much for cardboard?
>>
A guy in Finland is selling that shit for 27k I'm wondering if I could buy it and flip it for an easy 10k
But there's so much risk. I might end up owning a box of crap

>"Auction sites are pretty cool but you need to have common sense because people can sell dog shit for 50k just waiting for an idiot to buy it"

You can pick any price you want when selling, doesn't mean it's worth that.

It's only natural for prices to rise for collectibles as they age and become harder to find, especially with Pokemon trading cards. Even more so given the state of today's economy, with the buying power of a single unit of currency dropping at a somewhat steady pace.
