>never fixes the problems with the base game
>>58771210If paid DLC is needed to fix issues within a full price game then it's inherently shit.
>>58771210such as….
>>58771210I wish DLC could fix all the problems with the basd game>installs DLC>Gamefreak are no longer the developers
>>58771210Yeah it does>multiple randomly generated wild areas for you to engage with or manipulate with resets now enabling you to actually hunt for the Pokémon you want whenever you want>New battle zones cut the results screen making battles faster paced and you earn even more valuable rewards like apricon balls and bottle caps which were only farm able via multiplayer>gives 4 new non-city areas to take pictures in >fleshes out every single character in the main story one last bit to tie up loose ends>infinite royale teams have been updated with even more trainers, higher levels, smarter AI that uses switches and items, etc. It’s an improvement on the base game in every way it can be
>>58771210GF never fixes anything, as that would be admission. If something is terribly implemented, like the Max Raids in SWSH, they leave it exactly as it is and try to do it differently next time
>>58771233This. Only reason to do base game wild zones and battle zones now is if you wanna do a reward match because they updated some of the teams.
>>58771210Why would you think it would? They announced this DLC before the game was even released.Meaning it was completed with the main game, cut from the post-game, and sold to you suckers.
has dlc ever fixed a base game
Do you miss third versions yet? Game Freak seems to be the only company that hasn't improved with the DLC structure while at least prior third versions have always made tweaks to make the experience less insufferable
>>58771378>while at least prior third versions have always made tweakslike what
>>58771210Game Freak are some of the laziest faggots in the entire Gaming Industry
>>58771210The dlc fixes every issue the game had including adding new areas that weren’t the city
>>58771210unironically the laziest thing game freak has ever put out. mogs anything from gen 8/9 easily
>>58771390bw2 added repel auto-useplatinum engine improved to have way better speed in menus and in battlesemerald gave you animated sprites, same with crystal
>>58771210Just like all DLCsBring sequels/third versions back
>>58771210>massive Corbeau glaze>almost makes Korrina look normal before she flashes you with her autism>every sidequest is a shitpost>trivializes shiny hunting to a laughable degreeThis DLC is gold
>>58771515So things base ZA already has?
This thread is a shitpost fyi, the dlc cleans up the game very nicely. The new battle zones are such an improvement it boggles my mind why the base game zones felt so unrewarding. Oh that’s right, you didn’t get any rewards.
>>58771627It's even funnier about Corbeau because since Mega Dimension was in development since 2024, basically the instant they finalized basegame LZA, they already knew he'd be a fan favorite character without actually needing any fan input because of how fucking predictable people are, and thus didn't even hesitate to make him the guy in the chair for the DLC's narrative.
I don’t think DLC is ever made to “fix” the base game unless the base game’s problem is not enough of the same content, but this DLC only adds a ton of content like legendaries you can shiny hunt, tons of rematches, double battles, 50% more Pokemon, new megas, and many new side quests which is honestly the best they’ve ever been. A new map would’ve been even smaller and disappointing, and there’s nowhere in kalos that could serve as a DLC map, but I wouldn’t have minded if they let us go to a hyperspace black city/white forest if it would’ve been the same size.
>>58771210Not true, it made actual good side quests and not glorified fetch quests
>>58771515Emerald also introduced multi battles when two trainers spot you at the same time.
>>58771627>massive Corbeau glazeThat's how I like my donuts.
>>58771676>add new pokemon>whether or not you see any of them is solely determined by RNG>even if you do see them, they're 80+ levels below what is recommended for taking on the DLC
>>58771721If you've been breaking the floating Poke Balls, especially with donuts that increase your likelihoods of finding candy, you should be able to accumulate more than enough EXP Candy to immediately boost them up to level 100.
>>58771210New Mega$!!!!
>>58771727Sure, but that is both gay and wasteful.
>>58771676>and there’s nowhere in kalos that could serve as a DLC mapSouth Kalos
>>58771721At first yeah they’re low level, in the starting pockets everything is weak, but then you realize they’re throwing so many L and XL candies that you can spend one or two getting them fully evolved and for the Pokemon you actually plan on using you can max them out with ease.
>>58771751>At first yeahEven into postgame they never break level 50.Why even bother giving your Pokemon so low? They haven't shied away from making NFEs super high levels in past DLCs. It's just an added barrier that never needed to be there. Not being able to gain any exp at all is the most retarded decision Game Freak ever made.
DLC is only a grind if you’re a shiny hunting retard who can’t function without turning the game on and off for months
>>58771756Why are you lying, I got a rock 5 star and caught a shiny Aggron that was level 58. >gaining exp when the point is the level boost is a literal temporary power boost No anon, you’re the most retarded one.
>>58771766Do you even get 5-stars before postgame?
>>58771756You get shitloads of candies from hyperspace, you can make any Pokemon level 100 relatively quickly
You got to be more specific on what issues. Because if it was spending the entire game in Lumiose, the dlc wasn't going to change that since it was the game's entire shtick.
>the postgame is just grinding tedious chores in distortions so you occasionally unlock a distortion to do tedious chores in that has a small chance of having a pokemon you havent seen beforeim never giving gamefreak another penny
what problems?
