I'm a guy who never played any pokemon game beyond the first wave. Thinking about breaking that title, got a swath of free time and not a lot of desire to replay the original three yet again.Don't know anything about the new games though and which are the "best". My knowledge consists of Black & White having Smugleaf and Sun & Moon having... that one. Don't even know what Mudkip is from. And the last wave was apparently very bad?So, what should I start with?
Emerald, Platinum, BW and BW2, HGSS, theyre all good. Pokemon is a lot like Dragon Quest where it sticks to its guns and follows an if it aint broke dont fix it type of mindset and the gba ds era is a good example whereas after that they started to get lazy with it, just hop into them and expect a fun romp with mons and youll be happy
