I got a random shiny female gardevoir while going between hyperholes.Gave up on getting the shiny I wanted after four calorie run out resets.
I have a sparkling 3 dragon donut, and a zone with cyclizar as the main focus, should I go for that? Or just hold out for a dratini or gible?

>>58774154If it wasn't a donut boost, it was a plain old random shiny and may disappear entirely if you reset. As far as I'm aware, only sparkle 3 guarantees a shiny on entering the HS and resetting is the only way to potentially change the spawned critter.

I was on the hillside small HS map though (that's where I seem to have the best luck), other maps seem to be less intuitive about what groups can, will and don't move. There's also the chance there's a high density of dratini spawn groups and you're shifting Drat groups, but still ending up with one beside you (had a medium zone fennekin HS with about 5 different groups of 4-6 fennekin dotted about, so was able to reset until I had 12-14 spawn in a line running through the mall hallway and could just run in a line to check them)

It'll hit everything in the back half of Zone 16 (including two of the Falinks spawns) along with Froakie, and it teleports you close enough to the entrance to Zone 5 that pressing A will make you automatically walk into it. Then you can just press Start while in the zone to bring up the map, and if you're inside of a Wild Zone then the cursor automatically sets itself to the warp point. Getting Froakie is actually pretty easy with this method.

If you don't get the donut you want, close the game and load your backup save (press D-pad Up+X+B on the title screen)

Sometimes you can get a map with a good teleporter, but the spawns that it could refresh just aren't there.That specific teleporter can only reset two of the four spawns in that cluster, but it's also the only teleporter that can reset spawns in that entire map.

Terrakion finally shined after 1200 or so encounters. This concludes the huntable mons and leaves only Keldeo.Will then finish the pokedex and probably go back to Dynamax Advenures for some mons still left there.

How do you soft reset for special scans? Just refresh the backup save right before you unlock the ability to special scan? I tried scanning before, it kept giving me some waterslop I didn't want, and I had to do the shitty challenges in it to just crawl back up to 10k survey points. Already got Terrakion down, wanted to try for Virizion and Cobalion next, and the Latis later.
I want a shiny Aurorus but don't know where to get more moon balls. don't now how to make sparking alpha donuts and I want a third pokemon to go with it and Meganium but I can't think of any.
