the second game in the generation is called pokemon legends: the wishing star, taking place in galar’s crown tundra which are called the crown plains. you are there long before the time of trainers, where pokemon are even more wild than in hisui. when mysterious giant pokemon begin appearing surrounded by blue clouds, you have to work with the pokemon of the plains to contain this threat and restore order. there are no balls, you have to use bait and lures and other tools to command pokemon. by the end of the game you can command up to 30 pokemon at once. most of your pokemon choose their own attacks, you can only pick up to 6 pokemon at most to have full control over at any given time.the attached image are the new gmax forms. zacian and zamazenta are special, they can only gmax without their armor in the presence of calyrex while on dyna tree hill. their gmax forms resemble their armored forms but with the armor made of blue light for zacian and red light for zamazenta.

finally for what i have to share this fine christmas, the wishing star also has variants that are called crowned forms. the plains are very different when calyrex is in its prime, and certain species adapted out of its influence.slowbro and slowking are both chefs with fairy instead of poison type. slowbro’s shell adapts to be a whisk, slowking’s shell adapts to be a chef hat, and both of them replace their purple for the yellow of galar slowpoke.flygon is orange with four huge green wings and a snapper like trapinch’s mouth on its tail.mienfoo and mienshao have swapped colors from their normal versions as well as longer whiskers and limbs, with shaggy fur, and they move around in a really weird way that’s hard to describeminior is rounder and shiny light blue, with the different colored cores being intricate snowflakesspidops is spiderman, i don’t know how to phrase it without obviously avoiding that it’s spiderman, it’s more muscular, it looks cooler, it swings around with and blasts its websthe tinkatink line mostly looks the same except for being purple, but with a brown weapon that starts as a club for tinkatink, becomes a morningstar for tinkatuff, and is finally a massive flail for tinkaton, with a new ground type gigaton flail move.all of the normal forms of these pokemon can also be found / evolved in the wild, except for spidops and the tinkatink line which only have their crowned forms obtainable
