I like to think it EXPLODES itself to the direction it wants to go with mini-detonations, basically shooting itself from point A to B using the force created. Using further explosions to brake itself or change directions.

Speed isn't (entirely) movement speed but closer to combat initiative in a TTRPG. Electrode goes first because it's on a hair trigger from going off at any given moment.
