You want a bit more (probably around 850) for Virizion because you have to go up the ladder and down the hole. With Latios, you save on the teleporter (before going up!) and reload instead of running back and forth to despawn him, so you're going to have pretty much the entire donut to do it and don't need to worry about time in the first place, if you wanna try and hunt some of the Psychic or Dragons that show up in the portal you can probably do that easily enough as well.Good luck!

Large are bad for shinies since they're always a mixed zone where it's going to be incredibly hard to target one thing reliably. Level 3 doughnuts (shiny) will give one guaranteed shiny and give more rolls on everything else. If you want alphas, alpha 3 is the thing to focus on getting over shiny 3. It's something like alpha 1 gives 10% alpha spawns, alpha 2 is 20% and alpha 3 is 50%.
