Pokemon like Charizard, Mewtwo, Absol, Garchomp, and Lucario for whatever reason get 2 megas, meanwhile pokemon that should be getting 2 megas like Slowbro, Pyroar, and Meowstic get this half assed bullshit. Giving regionals their own mega evolution forms might actually make something interesting and throwing out the gender dimorphism in these pokemon who's entire identity is the gender dimorphism shit just makes it feel pointless to begin with since even the people who came up with the idea can't even be bothered to make use of it. They also retconned the origin of the mechanic the same gen it was introduced. It's so poorly thought out it isn't even funny.
