btw i never see anyone talk about it the pokeemerald decomp project has a fix for pokemon emeralds rng so you can hunt on emerald if you build from the source and define the bugfix flag it should work exactly the same as sapphire and ruby https://github.com/pret/pokeemerald/blob/9045b9b58216c3cd7fa837630c86bf505fab3de6/src/main.c#L229
