It takes a while, but helps the upload take less time and makes it more possible to do. You need enough storage space to have both the original files and the compressed files on your memory card. With a zip file after being extracted, just about everything comes with it's own gallery program locally, but I see what you're saying about wanting preview images. Image sites are always going to want you to tag, so I don't really see any way outside of a storage site. Nothing is really ever permanent, there will always be a risk of things getting removed for one reason or another. I'd advise porting the images over to a laptop if you have that many. Phones still aren't that good with massive file management. Having a backup is always a good idea anyway. I don't know what tools are available for mobile, but I know 7zip is great on PC. You just pack the files, upload them. People can then download and extract and view with their gallery program of choice.Only other thing I can think of that might keep your stuff up is Mediafire, but I don't have experience using it. Microsoft Dropbox and Google Drive could work, but I have a feeling those companies are just as likely to nuke things as Mega is, if not moreso. You also may just have to section the folder off into smaller folders for upload depending on the site you use.

Ordering from Amazon might be something to do if you need more space. For pictures a 256GB thumb drive might work well for you.
