Masuda isn't a great guy and I would not want to work for him. But like many artists, the worst people create the best things. His work after some polishing up by others and an extra year of time lead to the best Pokèmon games. Emerald, Platinum and HG/SS are amazing. And even with how much I dislike the gameplay of Let's Go, I have to appreciate the amount of love and detail that went into those games.
