I'm at the end of my Heart Gold playthrough and want to do the battle tower. I know it knocks you to level 50. Can you circumvent the level cap by utilizing stat boosting items on your team? I know it's about strategy and I'm fine with that, I think I recall doing this when I played Black & White, it's familiar, but I'm still uncertain whether or not you can grind stats up regardless of them forcing level 50 on you.
