I don't think most people including OP and these app closers know when you press concede you actually have to fully wait out the opponent's turn before the game registers the action. If you just concede and minimize out of the app, it will do this waiting for you to return to replay the enemies last actions before actually accepting your concede.

Ironically, a lot of these concedes are probably adults with jobs that aren't posed in front of their computers all day on their phones queueing up match after match. The match ended, and they probably had to get up from that lunch break or get off their train.

need help against a meme deck my friend made. its literally just 2 cofags, and 2 gengars. once he has the cofag set up he is perfectly capable of discarding 2 cards each hit and I am screwed.
We are using arbitrary rules of No Megas and No Ex pokemon.
by the time I get anything set up he is just eating away at everything I have.
any advice? 2 energy for 120 damage each turn is fucking insane

I'm a new player with the premium pass free trial still available and I'm missing quite a few staple trainer cards.
If the Deluxe Pack is coming back on the 15th, should I start the free trial on the 19th or 20th, so I get the extra daily EX pack, plus the new promo card on the 1st?

Well the game has become pretty stale in general. Same boring events that drop completely irrelevant cards, slow qol updates (still can't even claim all single packs at once), low effort cards, lack of any new modes or mechanics to stir things up, and the game's economy is just fucked on multiple levels.
It's polemon so whales will keep it alive forever but I'd be surprised if it has any modicum of an active playerbase come 2nd anniversary if they don't do something.

All the mega venu decks I see get anywhere are all in on getting a single Toad up and supporting it with stuff so you're running a single Bulbasaur and max copies of Ivysaur, Mega Venu and the buttplug.

I'm already fed up with playing PvP. You can't be creative when building competitive decks because we're accidentally forced to include certain specific cards in every single deck.
On the other hand, if you resign yourself to playing the seasonal meta deck, you get bored easily because moves are somewhat limited and extremely predictable.
I used to have fun using super-specific cards like Cynthia, but it seems that the idea of these types of cards was discarded to focus solely on EX Pokémon.

I only play pvp when there's an event, and I only open the game to check wonder picks every couple of days when I have a 24 hour one.

600 glasses = 50 pulls = 250 pity points. That's 50 EXs from A series sans Secluded Springs. You could grab 3 2<> cards with 42 pulls, enough to get a Cyrus/Sabrina/Mars core.
I'm not sure I would recommend it completely just because Mega Rising pushed the power level of the game pretty hard in terms of mons. A good list of staples would include 2 of Rare Candy, Cyrus/Sabrina/Mars and Element Switch. Cards like Copycat and May are just too powerful to ignore if that's the opportunity cost.
I'd say to pull deluxe until you have all of these staples except for 1, use your pity points, then dump the rest into the pack that staple comes from. Then use any leftovers on Mega Rising. Deluxe packs have 1 less card than normal packs so it really has lost value since the EXs were powercrept.

They're never going to add new mechanics. Everything is just a remix of the same few things over and over. No balance patches will ever happen so everything that's shit is shit forever. New packs have MAYBE 2-3 cards that are actually decent. The power gap between memedecks and meta is way bigger than it used to be.

Electric has a lot of energy swapping stuff. I don't really play electric but they have stuff like Elemental Switch and Electrical Cord. They have energy chargers like Pichu and some self-charging stuff like Zeraora or Magneton. For Luxray you really want to play Volkner. Heliolisk also does 120 dmg, and you should be able to pull him for free in the wonder pick event. Since 120 dmg isn't super high, you can probably survive with Giant Cape (Rampardos won't though if he took recoil damage). Cape can be negated with Guzma.
Hydregion is definitely the strongest though. It's basically Rampardos but loses less health and more importantly isn't a fossil. Plus it's strong against psychic so it would hit for 150 which is total overkill.
