>>58816021Absolutely nothing, from a good while ago (maybe in Gen 5, but absolutely in Gen 6) they started teasing/hinting at the next games in some fashion in the newest-released (SS had orange/grape wallpaper in one the hotels and scarlet and violet flowers scattered in patches in most of Sinnoh). As mentioned, there's no snow on the mountaintop and as the leaked map clearly has a volcano area. With the image in the flyer being a trad volcano shape (gravity affects pyroclastic flow in a very specific way), the likelihood is that is the tease for the new game, as they've started to get VERY esoteric with their hints after starting them off rather more blatantly (a tiki statue in Gen 7, a map of GB in LGPE).

I hate to actually tell you this, but they KNEW SV wasn't going to be the final game in the modern era in Gen 9. They had planned for a clean break with the modern for Gen 8 and what became Legends (before they roped in ILCA to port DP, naturally), so shoved in the hint in SS (as it made more sense to do it in the game pushing the series forward, than going back to take a look at the earlier history of the universe). And because they knew they had another game in the current day universe to play with, they didn't bother teasing the game, because they still had time to add the tease.This is part of their "unpredictability" ethos - they don't WANT to do the same tease each time, or else we'd get statuettes and specific map locations every damn game. And as they KNOW there's spergs who'll comb the game looking for something odd, out-of-place or unfamiliar, they're now seemingly seeding red herrings to throw feebles off. That may be Uluru, but teraleak reveals SEA as the region, meaning the Z-A hint holds more weight.Have to see how Legends Galar pans out, I think if they go back in the timeline again for its story, they'll drop the Gen 11 hint in WW, but that'll also be something so specifically esoteric, it likely won't be recognised until Gen 11's reveal, like how no-one realised the wallpaper was supposed to be lifted from a school's crest.
