Red and Green are effectively the exact same game, the differences are genuinely negligible. Red should be the default if only just because the main protagonist is called Red. If they went with any other name like Satoshi, that would change thingsGold is definitely the game they were working on, Silver changes were much later which is how we even got Beta Wooper to begin withSapphire's story makes more sense and we know Emerald was built off of Sapphire's code and story. Ruby's the better game thoughBlack and White were developed as WB so White was definitely the game they prioritized, similar to RS. It's a significantly noticeable trait because the sequels were developed as BW2Despite all our discoveries, I don't think DP, XY or games after SM ever gave us significant enough information on the game that was developed first, we just got super general information shared between the two games like DP's lore or XY's scrapped minigames. The biggest tell that Shield was probably developed over Sword is Allister's Gym though
