I just came here to say that ORAS is one of the best Pokemon games ever made.

I'm currently playing Alpha Sapphire and it's awesome. I just beat Norman and got surf. My team is currently Sceptile, Manectric and Swallow + hm slaves. I want to add Gyarados to my team but afaik I can't DexNav for Magikarp with high IVs until Soothopolis? So I'm trying to just get lucky with high IVs randomly by fishing with a Rod. Any tips for my Magikarp hunt?

A remaster of this game with the Battle Frontier & all crossgen evolutions, regional variants, and mega evolutions of Gen 1-6 Pokemon would be one of my favorites tbdesu. It's a shame that certain online features and Streetpass functionality would be axed in every realistic scenario though.

Have a Pokemon with Suction Cups or Sticky Hold in the front of your part to consistently get catches and find shinies easier if you want to do that.

Thank you anon. I just want a Gyarados with some perfect IVs and good overall IVs, tho. I don't care about shininess (I actually prefer blue Gyarados over red Gyarados lol)

Aren't the codes defunct now that there's no online? I thought they were just a signal to content on a server, not the content itself.

It's just data your that your device reads without any sort of internet connection required. I scanned a shit ton of QR codes as a kid without an internet connection and I got Magearna in Ultra Sun just two months ago.

Yeah I know the USUM codes are just data but I thought the ORAS codes were different.
