Flying and Surfing Pikachu is really cool to me. I especially like how Horizons showed that Pikachu can actually fly without balloons, it's just very difficult to train and super rare to see pulled off

kill yourself. Actually fucking kill yourself. Disliking Slowbro is subhuman

Delcatty learns Wake-Up Slap and Feint Attack through leveling up as Skitty
This means she can easily cover Rock Steel and Dark
She can also learn Play Rough through leveling up as Skitty, which can be used against fighting types.
So Delcatty can have answer to all her bad match ups without the use of a single TM.

I thought being able to breed Hydro Pump onto it through Gyarados was the coolest thing ever as a kid. Even had its use in comp, nuking Heatran with a Specs Hydro was just too satisfying.

All this cover doesn't matter when she has Normalize.
>>
All those early game normal types that can learn damn near every special TMs and don't have the stats to use them.
>>

Goodra learns a lot of moves too like a gen 1 normal type except it has actual special attack

>>

I’m more surprised it learned Ice moves
>>
This is more new but Gourgeist apparently gets Silver Wind via TM and I'm left wondering how. Not to mention some of the other moves it has learned over the years like Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, Charge Beam (back in Gens VI and VII anyways) and Moonblast

>mechanical-looking pokemon like Magnemite, Magearna, and Klinklang can't learn Overheat, a move that logically makes sense for them to have
>but a FUCKING ZEBRA can
>>
>>58820282
Magnemite and Magearna are perfect being who run so efficiently they couldn't even overheat if they tried.
That shitbox Klingklang not learning Overheat makes no sense, though
>>
>>58819367
I’m still confused by that. Like why give him that move? What’s the flavor reason. He still has it too after it’s distribution got culled in Gen 9.
>>
>Gets Flamethrower

>>58820298
I'm guessing it was given a water move due to its association with storrms? Still quite odd that Scald is what it got.
>>58820135
>Flamethrower
it being able to use fire moves was always a fun detail. Pokemon Go recently gave it Incinerate and its the only non-fire type to get it.
>Sludge Bomb, Charge Beam (back in Gens VI and VII anyways) and Moonblast
the first two are pretty standard for ghosts and Moonblast is fairly common for Pokemon associated with the night. Thoughts its ironic how many fairies don't even get it.
>>
Talking about Moonblast, Muk and his Alola form can learn it by level up but only in Let's Go

Here's one that really makes no sense: this thing learns Flamethrower and Fire Blast. In fact, it's been able to learn Fire Blast since Gen 1.
>>
>>58820320
>it being able to use fire moves was always a fun detail. Pokemon Go recently gave it Incinerate and its the only non-fire type to get it.
Likely because it's based on a jack-o-lantern which is lit up with candles and fire
>>
>Water gun Phanphy in gen II
>>
>>58820364
Back in Gen 1 they just kinda threw out moves to learn via TM randomly, stats and typing be damned. It's how you get stuff like Surf Rhydon and Teleport Arcanine.
>>
>>58820512
And yet they doubled down and gave it Flamethrower in Gen 2.

They also learn Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast, AND Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower. Kaijumon coverage is scary.
>>
Always thought it was cool that Seismitoad could learn Grass Knot and (later) Power Whip.
I see that Quagsire has been given Trailblaze now, but back in the day none of the other Water/Grounds had access to a Grass Attack. I often relied the Water/Ground mons for their Water immunity on my mono Ground-type teams, but Quagsire and Gastrodon could never really pose much of a threat in return.

They still need to give our little buddy Shadow Bone. It's no fair the Alolan version gets all of the Kanto version's Bone moves
>>
>>58820059
Learn to read.
>>
>>58822123
>Alolan version gets all of the Kanto version's Bone moves
Because they both evolve from Cubone. If there was an Alolan Cubone it would be a different story
>>
>>58821838
how is that a slice move anyway? are the little mice slicing you with their claws?
>>
>>58822233
From bulbapedo
>The Japanese name for the move can be read as both ねずみ算 nezumizan (to multiply like mice; literally "mouse mathematics", a common arithmetic problem) and ねずみ斬 nezumizan (mouse cut), explaining why the move is strengthened by Sharpness.
It was just the devs making a pun
