The Stone Age, the Ice Age, and the Iron Age perfectly reflect the history of the world. Regigigas is its symbol, having traversed the ages and pulled continents together with ropes.
>>
What about the Dragon Age and the Electric Age? What do they reflect?

>No Dark Age representation
>>
>>58822947
>Dragon
Pre-stone age, or age of Dinosaurs
>Electric
Modern times, since we’re all addicted to electronics

The medieval and industrial ages. After all, the Regis were meant to protect and guide humans, so they are close to them and their themes

While a slight parallel can be drawn with the distant past and the distant future, as one is likened to the dinosaur and the other is necessary to fuel technology

damn got any more fanfiction unc

The ages are symbolic because Regice was canonicaly conceived during Ice Age. This is based on the assumption that this is true for all of them, as the trios are often homogeneous.
>>
>>58822954
those don't count. they aren't real regis
>>
>>58822991
These are real Regis, but it's fair to say they weren't originally planned. This is reflected in Regigigas' design, which lacks the circles in the new Regis' colors.

What the fuck were these three doing in the Lucario movie? At first I thought it was Mew in disguise protecting the tree, but then the others showed up just to fight.

Movies are pretexts for anything and everything

Dragon Age reflects the modern audience (derogatory)

They could've remedied it by giving RegiGIGAS a GIGAntomax form but alas, gamefreak suffers from chronic retardation
>>

This is a huge stretch to assume they represent eras. Pretty sure the typings are just because they are golems, and rock, steel and ice are hard materials that work as being molded into a golem

>Pokemon deity that made the Earth billions of years ago decided to make another deity about an arbitrary era like the iron age billions of years later instead of just the simpler explanation of making the deity of the same material that he was making the world out of anyway (Metal)

Regigigas is quite ancient and has already traveled the world. The Regis' purpose is to protect and guide humans. Yes, they were made with these materials, but one doesn't preclude the other. Regigigas was created during the Ice Age according to the Pokédex. It's not far-fetched to assume the other two eras

Regice was created during the Ice Age. Sorry, that was my mistake*

But it has a pokedex entry that says
>The metal composing its body is thought to be a curious substance that is not of this earth.
>>
>>58824111
Why did you place Regice before Regirock?
>>
>>58824116
Because the majority of the metals we have on Earth come from space, most often via meteorites. What is not incompatible is simply scientific culture

>>58824117
This isn't my drawing; I found it on Google, so I posted it because I thought it was pretty cool

I thought they were representing bad human emotions.

'A heart of stone'
'Cold as ice'
Something about metal.
